Ashen Watch is a thrilling defense game set in a besieged fantasy kingdom. As the guardian, your main objective is to protect Princess Elira, who is hiding in the last surviving keep. You must stand your ground against endless enemy attacks and survive the siege for as long as possible.
How to Play Ashen Watch
Take command of the guardian to fend off waves of attackers. Your primary goal is simple: keep the keep safe from destruction. Throughout the battle, you will face eight distinct enemy types along with powerful bosses who will test your defenses. Every successful wave rewards you with coins, which can be used later for permanent upgrades and to unlock new armor skins for your character.
Main Gameplay
The experience unfolds across 20 waves of combat. After completing each wave, a roguelike perk system activates, allowing you to customize your fighting style. Choose to unlock abilities such as rapid arrow volleys, chain lightning strikes, a flaming sword, or a quick dodge roll. The story is revealed in cinematic chapters that appear every five waves, coinciding with major boss battles.
Tips for Players
Focus on surviving as long as you can to maximize your score. Strategically select perks that complement your playstyle—whether you prefer ranged attacks or close-range power. Consistently collect coins between waves to purchase permanent upgrades, strengthening your guardian against the increasingly difficult enemies that lie ahead.
