CHECKERS - Dames is a timeless strategy board game played on an 8x8 grid where players command 12 pieces each, aiming to capture all opponent pieces or block their moves. This classic game blends skill and tactics, offering an engaging experience for beginners and experts alike through its online adaptation.

Players alternate turns moving pieces diagonally forward, capturing by jumping over enemy pieces to land on an empty square behind them. Reaching the opponent's back row crowns a piece as a king, enabling it to move both forward and backward diagonally. The game ends when one player captures all pieces or immobilizes the opponent.

To play, set up pieces on dark squares in the first three rows. Move diagonally forward, capturing by jumping over adjacent opponent pieces when possible. Crown pieces that reach the back row for enhanced movement. The goal is to eliminate or block all enemy pieces to win.
