Hellforge: Demon Protocol is a fast-paced 2D side-scrolling run-and-gun experience. Your main objective is to survive a gauntlet of twenty increasingly difficult industrial missions, battling through waves of hostile forces to reach the end of each level.
How to Play Hellforge: Demon Protocol
You will engage in intense combat against a variety of enemies, including patrol soldiers, shielded troops, and powerful mech units. The gameplay rewards skillful maneuvering and strategic use of your resources. You start with three lives and can strategically dodge attacks while managing your ammunition. A key feature is the ability to carry and switch between two weapons simultaneously, allowing you to adapt to different combat scenarios on the fly.
Main Gameplay
The campaign features progressive difficulty, challenging you to overcome sixteen distinct trap types and ten unique animated bosses. Defeating these bosses is crucial, as they will reappear as more formidable elite enemies in later stages. You will need to explore each level to discover secret pickups and collect a diverse arsenal of six weapons, protective armor, grenades, and shields to enhance your survivability and firepower.

Success hinges on mastering the controls and making tactical decisions. Learn enemy patterns and prioritize dodging over reckless shooting, especially in later missions. Make effective use of checkpoints to save progress. Carefully manage your two weapon slots, equipping the right tools for each encounter.
