Lateral Defense is a strategic puzzle shooting game that challenges your reaction time and color-matching skills. Your main goal is to prevent incoming threats from reaching the bottom of the screen by destroying them using the correct, color-matched ammunition before the game comes to an abrupt end.
How to Play Lateral Defense
The play area features a descending stream of balls at the top, which fall toward the bottom of the screen. You control two distinct firing mechanisms: a red button located at the bottom of the screen and a yellow button positioned on the right side. The red button launches red bullets, while the yellow button fires yellow projectiles.
Main Gameplay
To survive, you must carefully track the falling objects and respond with the appropriate weapon. Red balls can only be neutralized by red bullets, and yellow balls require yellow shots. The central challenge lies in your ability to rapidly distinguish between the falling targets and fire the correct ammo. Successfully destroying every incoming object with the right color allows you to progress, but mixing up your shots will result in a quick failure.
Tips for Players
Your primary objective is strict color correlation. Pay close attention to which ball is approaching and ensure you are firing the matching bullet color to secure a clear path and advance to the next stage.
