How to Play The Killer Imposter Among Us
At the start of each match, you are assigned a secret role as either a Crewmate or an Imposter. If you are a Crewmate, your goal is to work with your team to finish all assigned tasks before being eliminated. You must remain vigilant, observing other players' movements for any suspicious activity. Imposters, in contrast, must blend in with the crew while secretly completing their own objective of sabotage and elimination. When a body is discovered or an emergency meeting is called, players gather to discuss clues and vote on who they believe is the hidden threat.
Main Gameplay
The game revolves around strategic movement through different rooms of the ship. Crewmates must navigate to task locations and complete simple objectives. The primary challenge lies in social deduction during discussion phases, where accusations and alibis shape the outcome. Imposters have the ability to disrupt ship systems and eliminate Crewmates when they are alone. Each round is a tense battle of wits, where observation and persuasion are as important as completing tasks.

For Crewmates, completing tasks is vital, but staying in groups can prevent you from becoming an isolated target. Pay close attention to who is near you and who is missing from a group. During meetings, communicate your location and any suspicious behavior you witnessed. If you are an Imposter, create a believable story for your whereabouts and attempt to cast doubt on innocent players. Blending in is key, so avoid actions that would make your role obvious to others.
